Mom had a passion for dancing…any kind of dancing. If it had music and required legs, Mom was moving.
It all started with hula when she was young. When she was a teenager, it was dancing at the dance clubs with the sailors. Growing up, I remember Mom doing Tahitian dancing.
Later on, Mom got into tap dancing and joined a dance group, performing in all kinds of crazy outfits. Dancing was fun and she loved all of it…she danced well into her 90s.
Even in her final days, when she couldn’t walk, Mom would talk about dancing again in the future. She had faith that Jehovah would make it possible through the resurrection. And she also had faith in Jehovah’s promise that when she returns, she will be young again in a Paradise on earth.
Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.’ - Job 33:25
