Through The Years

Going through Mom’s stuff, I found lots of photos.  I didn’t realize how much her looks changed throughout the years.

In her final years, she went with pink hair.  Imagine my shock when I saw her pink hair!  Then you I got used to it…and then, it was just a part of her.

Although most would complement her for her wild pink hair, some would judge her as just an old person not acting her age. But anyone who knew Mom understood that she was genuinely young at heart.  She’s in her 90s! Mom didn’t care what others thought.  The pink hair made her feel good and when you are in your 90s, it seems like you’ve earned the right to feel good about yourself even if others don’t agree.
